Review: Say It Isn't So

I'll review your ass if the money's right!

Rating: 8 / 10

I'd like to start by pointing out the obvious. No doubt I'll probably continue that throughout the review, but nonetheless - Here I go: Cinemas are money grabbing fucks! The tickets cost $9 each and I got charged a $3 booking fee for doing it over the phone just because they refuse to hire enough staff on tuesday nights to handle the kilometre long queues!

And all this after they joined all three George St cinemas together. For what reason? Well it sure as hell wasn't aesthetic. IT WAS TO MAKE MORE MONEY BY SCREENING MORE MOVIES ON LESS REAL ESTATE THAT'S FUCKEN WHAT.

..and boy what a funny movie this was! Chris Klein was perfectly acceptable as the sister-pounding country hick, and Heather Graham did a great job being the kind of sister any country hick would wanna pound.

The stroke victim was absolutely hilarious, as is the tendency of stroke victims, really. I'm reading Interface at the moment, btw. Great stuff.

Sally Field displayed uncanny believability as a moron. Who'd have guessed?

Go see this film. Laugh hard. Keep an eye out for the dangling hindu temples.
