Guess who is going camping?
No you fool, Ela and I are! Finally got the last of the stuff I need for a weekend camping expedition - namely my backpack and tent. So this coming Labour Day long weekend we will attempt our first overnight trip. Hopefully we won't be eaten by dropbears.
We've decided, based on what i've read and what a workmate recommended, to do part of the Six Foot Track - we'll walk to the first campground and camp there, then return to Katoomba the next day. Should be a relatively easy, "safe" walk for a first expedition!
This is turning into a bushwalking journal. Ah well, at least i'm updating!
