I was just reading an article in the SMH about a now common and cheap 'party drug'.
There were something about the article that I found a bit odd, firstly this quote: "[...] experts say it is unclear whether the drug causes any detrimental long-term side effects." Now, this drug's primary ingredient is "[...] gamma butyrolactone - an easy-to-obtain solvent used in tyres and other industrial products[...]" - you would think that ingesting an industrial solvent is likely to cause some kind of internal damage?? In fact it mentions the the clubs started finding marks on the inside of their drinking glasses that they couldn't remove, because the solvent was eating away the glass!.
Anyway, I just felt the need to share that because occasionally I still manage to be surprised by how stupid people can be. Actually, they may as well go and keep taking this stuff - probably for the best that they don't get a chance to reproduce.

Here's a spoiler for Star Warez: Episode III. It is probably quite accurate given they've finished principal photography. The spoiler sounds a lot cooler than I'm sure the resulting movie will be, because George Lucas is a tool.
Episode III begins - set three years after Attack of the Clones. The Republic is at war against Count Dooku's Confederacy of Independent Systems....
