I catch the train quite a bit these days.
I caught it yesterday, and while I was travelling, I heard a mobile phone ringing. A man a few seats away answered it, and this is the conversation as I heard it:
Hello?
Aah Hi Honey. How are you?
Ooh noo .. Where are you now?
So you're okay? ... Where is it now?
Aah that's no problem. What happened?
....
Riiight ..
...
Did you put oil in it like I told you?
Last week, you said the light was on, I said I'd put oil in it, you said you were happy to do it yourself. Did you do it?
...
And now it won't run! The thing's probably completely fucked! Why do you think there's a big red light to tell you about it if it's something you can do when you get around to it? Aah maan! We'll have to get it towed!
Alright, we'll talk about it when I get home. Just .. no .. just forget it. Bye.

They actually showed some Ice Hockey today! Live! I watched (most of) the semi-final between the USA and Russia. It wasn't particularly brutal or anything though, which is a shame. The Russians weren't playing very well for the first 2 periods (they were down 3-0 at that point). They came back a bit in the third (final score 3-2) but there still wasn't any violence.
One thing I found amusing though, the US goalie was wearing his "NY Rangers" helmet (presumably it's easier for him to just use his NHL helmet than get a special one for the Olympics). Anyway, the Russian goalie had a "Tampa Bay" helmet. Hmm. :)
They're showing the gold medal match (Canada vs USA) live on Monday morning at 6.50am (AEST).
In other news: after searching through all my CDs and most of my boxes of stuff I still couldn't find my Cannibal Corpse CD I had (The Bleeding). I felt like listening to it again because they're amusing. Anyhoo, went down to Utopia today and bought it again. It's still amusing!
It comes as a CD with two albums on it (The Bleeding and Vile) and it seems at some point since I bought it originally they've decided the covers are too racy and so they're "censored". It's a plain white CD and a plain white cover. No matter, the music isn't censored.
I don't get it? What's offensive about this? Maybe it was just the
track listing that was the problem.
I suggest you all go and download a few MP3s and enjoy. Heh.

Alisa Camplin is a fairly hot chick. At least as far as the Winter Olympics go. However, based on her interview on The Ice Dream she's a bit ditzy. Ah well, whatever.
I don't understand why people are complaining that Steven Bradbury didn't win his gold fairly. For those living under a rock, or elsewhere, he won the 1000m Short Track speed skating gold after the 4 people infront of him all crashed on the last corner. It's not like he wasn't keeping up with the pack, if he hadn't been then the other skaters would have had time to get up and cross the line before he got there (the guy that got silver was only a second behind). It's all part of the sports (the accidents) and Bradbury just made the most of that :) Apparently, as they say, "That's short track". Whatever, again.
Anyway, I might go and check the athlete profiles and see if there are any hot Canadian chicks I haven't seen yet. Maybe next time i'll post something more interesting.

Saw some hot chicks while sitting at Starbucks today, thought you might all want to know. I need to pretend I'm a tourist and get photos taken with them in Starbucks.
I need to mix it up a bit, just Starbucks all the time gets a bit boring. Does anyone know any cafe's that:
- have nice coffee
- are staffed by hot chicks
- are relatively cheap
- are within 15 minutes walk of Pyrmont
- are open late
- have lots of hot single chicks as customers
If you know of a cafe that fits this description let me know as soon as possible. Thanks!
If I can't find one maybe i'll quit my job and open a cafe. Although I think there are laws against my proposed hiring/door policies.
Ooh.. i've got a better plan! I'll move to Europe where, based on my personal experience, the chicks are more fly and the coffee culture is more prevalent. See, over there a chick we'd consider hot here would only be average, so i've got more of a chance! Haha.. yes, brilliant!

Apparently I have a website! I guess I should occasionally use it.
There was a bit of fuckuppery on the part of the hosting provide earlier this week, not that any of you ungreatful slobs would have noticed because you weren't reading the website anyhoo.
I saw Behind Enemy Lines on Tuesday. Haha. It was so terrible! I started writing a review too, but didn't get around to finish it. To summarise, it's the action comedy of this summer!
Apart from that nothing exciting has been happening. Zuid mentioned I should redo the "Fashion Tips" thing we had before the database got deleted. I guess maybe I should.
Anyway, I'll try and think of some original material to post sometime in the near future to keep y'all entertained. (I have to keep pretending there's an audience of 1,000s)
